from July through September, take advantage of the fresh, local
produce and other market fare. Open 9:00 am to 1:00 pm in the
United Church Parking Lot on Highway #2 South. Contact

Take a leisurely drive through some of the
most breathtaking scenery in the world! Head West on
Highway #22 to Longview and visit the
Bar-U Ranch, back East down Secondary 549 to Highway #2.
Watch for old pioneer school houses still standing along the
route (information plaques are located at each site).

Nestled
amongst the trees, alongside the Mosquito Creek just off
Highway #533 East, is the
Nanton Campground.
On site, is a large coin operated shower building with
washroom facilities, as well as a dumping station. Group
camping is also available. Although the campground is self –
registration, reservations and further information may be
obtained through the Campground Manager at (403) 646-5673.
Within a short driving distance,
Chain Lakes Provincial Park offers fishing and boating,
Willow Creek Provincial Campground has a peaceful location along the creek, while
Indian Graves Campground offers
back-to-the-basics camping in the heart of the foothills. All
are reasonably priced and clean. Check the
