Tour
through the World War II Lancaster Bomber, one of only a very
few left in the world. The museum built by volunteers to honour
all those associated with Bomber Command and the Commonwealth
Air Training Plan, features the "Lanc" along with other
aircraft, WWII vehicles, displays and
memorabilia. Admission is by donation. Open daily
9 am to 5 pm, April 15 to
October 15; October 16 to April 14 weekends only from 10 am to 4
pm or by

Train
Lovers of all ages - Ultimate Trains/BIG SKY Garden Railway
is the busiest display in North America. Twenty-two
trains running in a 7000 square foot miniature world every day from May 1 - September 30.
Hours of operation are 11 - 5 weekdays and 10 - 5 Saturdays. Make it a day trip!. Bring a picnic, relax and let the kids play in the 2 Thomas wooden train covered play areas.
"Nanton's Steamin' Demon", ride-on-train, offers rides for ALL
ages throughout the season. Adults $4.00 Children $3.00.
The Ultimate Trains shop and one play area are open for winter hours - October 1 - April 30. Hours open 11 - 5. Closed Tuesdays, Christmas Day,
New Year's Day. Children only charged $3.00 to enter play area.

for the few elevators that have been saved by industrious
communities, Alberta will be elevator free before you can blink
an eye. The Nanton "Save One" Society is working hard to prevent
the loss of these sentinels of our heritage. Once they are
gone...they are gone. You can make arrangements for tours

Located on Highway #2 north near Main Street, this little yellow
school house has become a favorite place for tourists to stop.
The School House was originally built in 1906 and was located
northwest of Nanton and has been fully restored by the
Fitzgerald Family of Nanton. It is open seasonally from
